The expat community lost one of its finest the other night. Joe from Kampong Cham passed away on Thursday night. Joe was a long time teacher and operated schools in Kampong Cham and in Kampong Thom. He also ran the Mekong Crossing Bar and Restaurant on Kampong Cham's riverfront. Joe was popular among the biker community as he was a prominent pit stop to Mondolkiri and Kratcheh, not only for his great food, but for his great personality. He was the go to guy for people heading to the north east.
Rest in peace Joe and thanks for all the fond memories, we'll miss you.
